How far in advance do schools schedule interviews?

One school I applied to is supposed to schedule interviews for October and November. In your experience, far in advance have schools notified you of either getting an interview or being rejected?

I believe it varies with every school. I was notified of an interview a month in advance and another school notified me to contact them for interview information and they gave me a date exactly a week from when I emailed back. Which school are you wondering about?

It depends on the school and also their start date. Most programs I applied to have a fall start date so we don’t get notified til December for January and February interviews, however, I got into a school with a January start date and they literally gave me 4 days notice. Another one gave me about 3 weeks, so it varies!

I haven't heard from Iowa either. Again, I don't have the best stats. 3.0 PTCAS GPA, 3.4 prerequisite GPA, 148V/149Q. But after I do an academic update in Dec. my prerequisite GPA goes up to 3.7.
