Are the free nbme questions similar to the real thing?

Similar but a little more straightforward. They are nice because the computer layout is the exact one you use during the exam. I thought the NBME form exams (at least form 2, which I took), were more representative of the actual questions.

As far as I know, they are actually questions used in the past. I got 1 question that was very similar on the real thing.
