For anyone who has used these books, How good is the examkrackers complete study guide set as far as prep for the mcat?

i used em and thought they had pretty much all the info you needed.

They're AWESOME. No need to feel apprehensive about them. Very few negative comments have ever been posted about them. Go for it.

I would suggest having some sort of reference book that may be a little bit more detailed in their explanations to complement the EK set. Although Examkrackers is great for their material, somtimes it's hard to understand it without the appropriate background information. I used the kaplan and comprehensive books as reference guides. They came in especially handy for the circulatory and digestive systems...

ek goes in to more depth than kaplan 90% of the time. kaplan has a few odd extra facts (like ductus arteriosis for ex.)
if you only use the ek books you will be better prepared than only using the kaplan books. and get the real aamc mcat practice tests.

I have accessed TPR, Kaplan, and ExamKrackers, and I feel that ExamKrackers is the best because it avoids thrusting unnecessary, extraneous info at you. However, I feel that the genetics material is in too short supply. Thus, if you oft for the ExamKrackers route, make sure to grab genetics from another source.
