Hello everyone! okay so my exam day is April 25. I am currently in the content review stage and am taking a Kaplan prep course. I don't plan on memorizing my Kaplan Quicksheet. But what I am doing is going through and watching videos on the information on the quick sheets if I don't know the concept. That is how I am planning on utilizing my quicksheet. In addition to this. Based on the prep course, I have assignments tailored to how I do on pre test. thats neither here nor there. my question is, is studying the MCAT Kaplan quicksheet worth it?

Sure, there is good stuff on there. It isn't enough though. Make sure you don't just learn the quicksheet and think you are golden.

If your content review is super solid, the quicksheets are phenomenal for quickly refreshing information. After content review, I rarely referred to my more detailed notes and just used the quicksheets instead. Be sure to hammer home the content and nitty gritty details before, though.

I think the Kaplan quicksheets are a great thing to look over in the last few days of your studying- there's some crucial information there that is pretty easy to forget, but it is not comprehensive at all.

Thank you! but if its crucial information shouldn't it be looked over first?

I found it was better to make my own notes. What I needed wasn't generic, so I didn't find any of the various 'quick sheets' to be as helpful as making my own.

I didn't look at my quicksheet once, to be honest.

The MCAT tests information analysis more than it does regurgitation. I think your time is better spent doing and thoroughly reviewing lots of practice questions than it is to study the quicksheets.

I did make my own note sheets for topics such as how the nephron works, o chem reactions, etc. The process of making my own sheets was a great way to reinforce the knowledge. (I ended up hanging them all over the walls of my home office and by the time test day came the wall was nearly covered.)
