How important is the manual dexterity section on the application?

Personal statement is the most important part in terms of showing your dedication to be a dentist. I definitely got lots of proofreading before finally done with it and now I am thinking about the next section, manual dexterity.

I believe that manual dexterity is also very important part to write (600 characters), but I just don't have much to write about, so I am a little bit worried about this part. How important is this section on the application?

I don't believe its that important, but my target shooting hobby was constantly brought up during my interviews.

Not that important, they will teach you/you will develop hand skills in dental school.

Probably not important at all... Although mine was brought up in a couple interviews. Just be weary of what you put down.

I see it as more of a talking point during the interview, it's not something that will swing your app one way or another

I agree with the above.. Try writing about something really unique so that you can stand out and talk about something that makes you different than the other applicants
