I am clinical pharmacist with 3 years of experiences and I am planning to move to Houston area. What's the chance of locating a similar job around Houston area hospitals within 3 months now? Any thoughts? Thanks. Also, what the working schedule like in Texas as a hopital pharmacist? Like what % of afternoon shift? how much you work in the weekend? How many holidays you have to work? how many days of CTO hours per year?... Thanks for sharing any information.

I managed 9 hospital pharmacies in Houston up until last year. There were intermittent full time positions at best. Typically $45 - $50 per hour...every other weekend and variable shifts with 4 to 5 hours of PTO per pay period accrual. That being said when I left the position there were not any openings.

thanks for the info. 4-5 hours of CTO per pay period? biweekly pay? or weekly pay?

2 to 3 weeks PTO per year.
