I don't have first-hand knowledge of the program, although it sounds like residents get excellent training in a not extremely stressful environment (although hospital seems pretty busy and is large --- 700-800 beds or something like that). I don't believe there are any fellowships at the hospital which could be good or bad.
I am seriously considering this program if I do general internal medicine. Chattanooga is a nice town also --- small compared to Chi as mosts towns are-- but growing.
