How much can you miss on each section and still get 20 on each part? I understand its curved (right?) so each section is different. Which parts do you think allow you to miss more questions and get the same score? I'm doing some QR questions, a little bit on study barn and I've done a few in kaplan's book, most of the questions seem easier than I expected, is this one of those sections that if I miss just a couple it'll drop my score down more?

Here's link from the ADA website that should help you with your questions. It's only 4 pages long and tells you how they score they exam.

Even if you got all of the questions correct in a particular section - that doesn't mean that you score a 30. For instance, if you look at the Bio section on this estimator, you could get a score of 27-30 and not have missed any questions.

So, if you miss 1 question...that doesn't mean you go from a 30 to 29. You could drop several points.

I heard the pdf file you can find on the ADA website is outdated and that makes sense. I saw someone post their scores up recently and according to that "estimate your score" pdf they got at minimum 81 questions correct out of the 100 for science, but their total science was only a 19 which has a range of 76-80 correct answers. So he/she should have gotten a 20 according to that chart. So does anybody know a more updated version of how the test is converted to our scores?

I'm not sure how outdated it is but it'll at least give you an idea of a score you may receive.

It depends on the test but ADA will give you a reliable idea. Don't be worrying about how many you can get wrong going into the actual test. That will kill you. I did it and I thought I had come down with a five hour flu with that way I felt.
