I am taking the DAT on 6/25. I have everything else ready to go. I've created an account and sent for my transcripts along with transcript matching forms. I'm waiting on my committee letter. Please confirm (or correct) my understanding of the process:

--although my transcripts have been requested, they cannot be verified until I complete the application (even without my DAT scores).

--should I spend a few hours completing the application now so that I can at least get my GPA verified?

--can my committee upload my letter even though I haven't completed any portion of the application (and haven't paid any fees)?

Although I know applying early is important, I'm not worried about "first batch", etc. I just want to make sure I am utilizing my time wisely.

I think you answered yourself about the GPA. If you have time I would start writing the application now while waiting for your committee letter and DAT. I myself started writing my application 3 months ago using last year's prompts.

1. You must submit the application and pay application fees to be verified.
2. It doesn't take very long to complete, you could easily do it in one sitting.
3. Yes, letters can be uploaded anytime.
