How long does it take to hear from Downstate?

Just curious. In my interview they said 6-8 weeks, and I got the letter from them saying don't contact us, we'll contact you. So what's the deal? At this point I don't think I'd attend anyway, but I would just like to know what is up. If they're going to reject me, just do it already so I can move on!!

I interviewed nine weeks ago and still haven't heard. When I called they said we would hear 8-10 weeks after the interview. Are they still accepting people or is it all wait lists and rejections by now? This is the last place I'm waiting to hear from and I'm on five wait lists with no acceptances, so I really need Downstate to come through for me.

If anyone has been accepted in the past few weeks, please post.
