I sent my application back in May. Got my ATT and took the MPJE back in mid July. I got an email saying I passed a week after. Now it has been almost a month since I passed my MPJE and almost 4 months since I first sent in my application. I called and emailed the WA department of health; they said there are no holds on my application, it is in final review but can't tell me what the estimated time remaining would be. Is it really going to take half a year to get licensed in WA???

I had the same experience, I was waiting to move here from IL and my move was delayed by a month waiting on the WA DOH to make my license active (didn’t want to move without a job). I highly recommend calling them multiple times and politely nudging them. They seem to be very behind on reviewing applications right now. I called 4 times and each time I would mention the last time I called and how long ago I submitted my application/fees/fingerprinting card until finally a nice young lady said she’d find my application and push it through—the next day it was active! Also I’m sure they told you about the DOH provider credential lookup website? It posts real time updates. Keep calling!

BTW what study material did you use? I'm taking it soon. Are there any notes that u wouldn't mind sending to help me?

I studied Fassett’s Washington Pharmacy Law 2017 Edition and bought the WA practice exams from pharmacyexam. I was shocked how much easier the exam was compared to when I took the IL MPJE a few years ago. If you study the Fassett material thoroughly you should be good to go. Make sure not to ignore the charts in that book, especially the controlled substances chart, labeling requirements charts, and the prescriptive authority one. Good luck!
