How long for Maryland.....

So how long does anyone think it will take Maryland to send out more acceptances? According to predents.com, the trend over the last few years has been that those who interviewed around the 11th and 12th of January have heard back within a couple days. However, this year that trend has been broken. Weird.....
 
I know it's so intense! I heard February 1st is the golden day ???
 
Still nothin from anyone.......? Also, Toothfairyy, why do you assume Feb 1st?

I hope it's filled with good news!! Oh and response to ur previous post KillaCam- my friend told me that she had asked and thats the day she got haha I mean it would be nice to get something positive especially the sooner (the better) !
 
take what I say with a grain of salt, but I think the magic day is either Feb 6 or sometime after and I'll tell you why. I remember during the interview day that Meehan said that they adcom would take a look at which students who were already accepted had paid the deposit by the deadline. once they figured that out who hadn't paid the deposit, they then offer more acceptances. I know someone who was accepted Jan 11 and their deadline for deposit was Feb 6 so it for what its worth, I could be way off. GL

i remember you because you were from idaho and that was the most unique location of everyone there. I will be attending, what about you?
 
how many of you are instate and were your academic updates already posted on your AADSAS account?

I will put down the deposit because I do want to go but I have an interview @ my #1 choice UCLA in 2 weeks. I loved Maryland and have for some time now nut if accepted at UCLA I will most likely be going there. Man, this is kinda stressful, but good stress......

No email for me. Losing more and more hope everyday as I have been waitlisted at 1 school and have yet to hear from 3 others. Congrats to all of you who got in today!

I got one about 8 hours after my acceptance notice!

Im not sure whether it is for all 4 years or just one.

I am out of state.

Maryland gives scholarships?! hmmm You were notified via email right? If I may ask...what are your stats? I really loved maryland but I am so confused because OOS it is more expensive than NYU for me (won't have to pay living).
 
Sorry to repost, but this thread seems more appropriate for my question.

Does anyone know if the committee is sending out any decisions this week? I thought they said at my interview that after Feb. 1 they would be making decisions every 2 weeks. Just wanted to see if anyone had any more information about this.

I just got my e-mail on Fri, 11th. and snail mail on the next day!
Pretty excited and I'm def going to Maryland

I interviewed during the last week of January and I'm anxiously awaiting a decision. I'm OOS and I hope they haven't filled all of their OOS spots yet.

ye did anyone hear back from Feb 2 group they sais that by 18 we wouldmaybe hear back . anybody anything?

I have not heard anything yet. I think they are waiting to see how many people put down deposits. I dunno.
 
i was wondering the same thing...i interviewed before dec and still haven't heard anything and thought everything went well.😕
 
I interviewed on Jan. 12... and I am still waiting too..
i have been accepted @ MWU but MD has always been my top choice...
I guess at this point, we are all waitlisted? ... :'(
