Just wondering how long on average it takes for the schools selected to get the computerized scores once taken. I took the test this morning, here are my stats:

QR: 350
RC: 350
Bio: 380
GChem: 370
OChem: 400
Phys: 370
TS: 390
AA: 370

Looking back on it I overstudied the specifics and understudied the basics. And my bladder nearly exploded right around the start of RC.
Thanks in advance.

The schools will receive your scores within 3 weeks of you taking the test. 🙂

Great job btw...how did you study? I have 4 1/2wks left til I take my OAT!! :scared:

Wow! Congratulations on the great scores!! I'm taking the test Tuesday and will aim for your stats! 😀

On the letter with instructions on how to schedule a place/time for the OAT, it says the schools will receive the scores within 3 weeks. I think some applicants have heard back from schools within the 3 weeks though. Best of luck to you!

I used the Kaplan MCAT books and Topscore pro for about 4 weeks. The Topscore just helped with orientation to how the test works. The kaplan study books were the best help, though they were a little in depth for the OAT. I seriously doubt that the OAT will have anyone use the quadratic eqn to solve [H+] given a high Ka value-but you never know.
Cheers and Good luck

Hello,

I am sorry to bother you, but i saw your stats and they are great CONGRATULATIONS! I was just wondering approximately how long did you study a day during those 4 weeks that you studied for the exam? I have the exam scheudle for 11/28 and am taking 18 credits in school so i havent started studying yet. I am as of today, and i took the kaplan course, although the professor was awesome i didnt really study during that time. Do you think its possible to be prepared within a months time? i took the practice tests from kaplan and scored around 290 in chem and bio and around 240 on the oragnic and phsyics. They said that the kaplan tests have about a 60 70 point difference between the real exam, but i am not confident how true that is. What was your strategy for stuyding? and you said not to study detail too much? what do you mean?

thank you in advance for your help!
i hope you get into your first choice!
:luck:

sincerely,

Julie🙂
