I am just starting a research position at a local hospital. I'm a reapplicant and the research component was something missing from my application the first time around. I kinda want to wait a little bit before sending in my apps so it seems like I've been doing the research thing for more than like a week. I feel the research thing is important to show that I have improved my application since the last time around. How long is too long to wait? When should I send in my primary application?

Any suggestions? I need some advice.

You should send it in now or next cycle. By the time you interview you will have several months of experience. Waiting is only going to hurt you.

How long is the position for? Can you keep the job for two years? If you can I'd go for submitting next cycle.

send it now, you can still list it and it will be to present.. by the time you get secondaries/interview/etc you have been doing that for a month or more.. unless you want to get an LOR, in which case they have to know you a bit more! good luck =)
