Sounds like a stupid question. Here's my plan, per brakks advice( thanks again man!) :
Get the interfolio print out slip and give the letter writer an envelope to put the letter in.

The question is, what am I supposed to tell them how to write it? How long does it need to be and in what format? Do they need to seal the envelope and put their signature on the seal? I have never seen this addressed on SDN and I'm wondering why I'm the only crazy who missed this nugget of info. Thanks to all that can clarify this for me!

Nice signature ( I think I said that before?)

There is no "golden" length. I would say 99% of DO/MD/PhD have written LOR's at one point or another, so they should know how to do it. The people who know you better will write you longer once, the people who you just met, it will be shorter.

There are two ways you can upload into interfolio. They can do it via the online access code (most prefered because its easier) or hard copy snail mail into interfolio. Give your LOR writers the access code that will allow them to just upload.

I think the thing that makes it difficult is the fact that they would have to make an interfolio account. Call me crazy but I feel like I'm asking such a favor that the writer may actually be annoyed if he or she has to make an account. Lol.

👍

The only special instructions I gave my LOR writers was to put my full legal name and AACOMAS ID on the front page, print the LOR on letterhead stationary, and list their academic degree. AZCOM specifically lists those as requirements and I'm sure many other schools will appreciate those formalities as well. Otherwise, your letter-writer should be able to handle the rest. I'm not aware of needing a signature on the seal of the envelope or anything like that.

Most of them had an interfolio account. Only one of my LOR's had to hard mail it in, everyone else had an account.
