How long 'til you were "Complete"?

So for the past few months I've been all gung-ho about getting my app in ON June 1, but as the date gets closer I'm finding I have less and less time to work on my PS or AMCAS.

I know people mention that getting a school to acknowledge that your app is "complete" sometimes takes forever. What's the most common reason for this? Does a complete app include secondaries?

I have all my LOR's loaded and ready to go on Interfolio, my transcript's going out as soon as this quarter's done, and I'm pretty sure my PS will be done around the same time.

Assuming all of this stuff goes out at once in mid-June, and everything actually gets there, how long can I expect to wait before I get verification emails?

I submitted mine in the middle of July and it took about 3 weeks to get verified.

Its pretty quick provided you submit before late july onwards.

I believe I submitted near the end of June and was complete in mid July

My AMCAS Primary on the other hand, is pretty much in agreement with above:

Kinda sucked because my school had quarters, and didn't get done until the beginning of June, and I wanted to wait for those grades. But it was complete by mid July or so.

Yup, that was my reason. Had to wait for Spring grades to come out... Damn quarter systems
