How long to calc gpas?

Hello everyone,

I just found this site a few days ago so this is my first post. I must say it is very informative and I wish I would of found it sooner. Anyway I took my DAT August 22nd (21 AA, 23 GC, 21 OC, 19 Bio, 23 RC, 18QR 19 PA) and submitted my AADSAS on Sept. 8th. How long did it take for them to calculate your gpa after they received your transcripts? Thanks

One of the customer service reps told me that the day they receive all your transcripts, you will have to wait for 4-6wks to calculate your gpa. Then you have to wait for another 2-3wks for aadsas to send out your application to all the schools you applied to. I e-submitted my app on 8/26, but they did not receive all my transcripts till 9/6. I'm guessing they won't send out my app till the 1st or 2nd wk of November. Hopefully thats not too late to get a interview....

It took them 4 weeks to calculate mine. That's assuming they have all your transcripts already. You heard that it takes 2-3 weeks to mail it out??? They've been holding onto my application for six weeks now, and counting.

just to let you know, aadsas must be using super slow snail mail. it takes an average of 2-3 weeks from the mail out date untill they reach the schools. they must be lying about the mail out date.

I got very lucky b/c I submitted my application on 8/12 and my GPA was calculated 8/19! It's just all very random. I'm still waiting for them to send out the paper version!

my transcripts were in well before i submitted, it took 2 weeks to calculate.

mine was 3 weeks to calculate, 1 week to mail
but that was at the beginning of the summer...

if you just submitted, expect 6+ weeks
actual arrival date is probably early-mid nov

a notice from one of the schools im applying to:
"AADSAS has a delay in the time between when they have an item listed and the time I actually receive it. Please be aware that an AADSAS item listed as Complete-Mailed may not reach our office for another 3 - 4 weeks."

they already received my transcripts before i submitted my app. from then, it took only 9 days (8/10 to 8/19).
