How long to make a decision

Hey guys,
I'm still on two waitlists. I have a questions for those of you who have already been accepted.

How much time does the school give you to accept the offer? I know some of you put money down at more than one school. But I was just curious if it is a general deadline for everyone at that school, or is it more like, you have 2 weeks from when you are notified.

One school notified me of my acceptance on January 31st and my deposit had to be post-marked by February 28th. Still waiting for the letter with those details from my other acceptance.

One school gave me two weeks from notice of acceptance, and another gave me a month. Sadly, that wasn't enough time for me, as I'm still waiting to hear back from other schools, so I had to put down deposits at both. 🙁

I think it depends on the school. One of the schools I applied to wanted it in 2 weeks, the other gave me 1 month and the third I got waitlisted (and since I was accepted to two, I just "turned out" the waitlist offer).

The one open house I went to the student giving the tour said she got called in August to attend at the end of the month and only had 3 weeks to move to the school's area and get everything in place!

So I mean, it can happen, even last minute!
