How long was the wait for an interview at these schools?

hi peeps, so I must have beaten a record or something, because within 1 week of having my primary verified I received secondaries from every school (except Michigan State, they asked for a copy of my permanent residency, so maybe I'll get a secondary later) and within 1 week after that (some even 2 days!!!😱 ) I turned in my application. I believe that by now I should be complete at:
Western/COMP, TUCOM, UMDNJ, OUCOM, and NOVA.

Can you guys tell me how long you waited to hear something from these schools post-secondary? Thank you!

I was part of the early batch of applicants.

COMP was the longest for me. My admissions advisor was lame and didn't submit my file even though it was complete for 2 weeks 😡 . I called to check and she finally sent it in and I was interviewed in 2 weeks (Nov. 6)

TUCOM ~ 2 weeks post secondary (I cancelled due to another acceptance).

NSUCOM ~ I was invited for an interview recently. ARGGH!!! Their secondary was lost in the mail, and I was too scared to call. It took me a whole month to call and ask if I was qualified for the secondary, which I was. I cannot even look at this school since I sent in my deposit to CCOM already. I'm stuck and there's NO going back. It's a frightening thought to be committed at this point. Commitment issues?! Yes, definitely in everything....but that's another topic.

My advice to you is to CALL and check if your ENTIRE FILE is complete even after the tracking confirmation through the post office was verified online.

Send in your committee packet or lor's right now. At least then they will only be waiting for your part of the application.

for TUCOM i got my "application complete" postcard the same day as my interview offer. this was about a week after i sent in the secondary and my letters. the postcard was dated one day before the letter.

for COMP i think it was maybe two weeks after i sent in my secondary and letters.

i haven't heard anything from OU-COM yet (after about 2 months), and i didn't compeltel my secondary to NSUCOM.

I appreciate the info guys. So 2 weeks post-secondary huh? that's good, but I know that with the holidays coming up, I'll probably have to wait a little longer, hopefully not too long. Thank you and if anyone knows about the other schools like NOVA, UMDNJ, and Ohio, I'll appreciate it, thanks

NOVA IS NSUCOM ~ By the way, do not refer to that school as nova. They prefer to be called NSU or Nova Southeastern. I believe there was an old thread about properly addressing the name of the school for NSUCOM 🙂 .

I would say about a month for an interview invite for NSUCOM.

oops, sorry 😀 Nova Southeastern it is. A month is not that bad at all. From what I can see, DO schools are much faster than MD schools huh? that's great!!!! looking forward to hearing from DO schools

UMDNJ-SOM, I received and invite to interview about a month after completion. And although you didn't ask specifically....for the purpose of others reading the thread and interested...

PCOM, I got the invitation about a week and half after completion.

NYCOM -two-three weeks.
