To avoid being overwhelmed with the transition from high school to college because I don't believe I will be ready to take on the work ethic "Not saying that to put myself down" but I haven't expereienced anything in High School except a few AP classes.

I was trying to work something out in the lines of starting out easy, and working my way up.

My ideal question is how many science classes will I have to take if I decide to spread out my pre-requisites to a 3 Year Plan instead of 2.

This is given that I will be going to the average university I'm not looking for an exact answer but a approximate answer.

All is appreciated, thanks.

Uh, I am just going to go out on a limb and give a general answer of probably a mix between 1 and 2.

I finished all my prereqs by the end of my junior year (which I recommend doing, since it's good to have taken all the classes pre-MCAT). I had the majority of them finished by the end of my sophmore year. Took 1-2 prereqs a semester.

I think this is a good idea for a few good reasons.

I have a 4 Year "Hope" Scholarship by the state which covers 100% for Four Years Tuition.

That being said if I take 1-2 A semester my chances are heightened to main a good grade point average.

I will most likely be going to Georgia State and Xfering to UGA after one year.

Besides the obvious of taking another year to apply pre-pharm.

is there any downsides to taking three years instead of two?

I appreciate all the help guys

I was wondering is there any downside to doing three years then the ideal "Three years instead of Two".

I know some positives would include.

A greater grade point average, ability to pick up a work schedule to pay for college.

Although, I have the HOPE Scholarship "3.0 Grade average or higher in highschool= 4 Year Payed Scholarship of Tuition".

I will be going to Georgia State and in hopes to transfer to UGA after a year.

Are there any downsides to three years?

I am taking my pre-reqs over three years. No big deal. Taking classes for my major at the same time and really don't want to take 3+ science classes a quarter. 2 is nice and taking non-science classes is relaxing and enjoyable.
