HOW long?

HOW long does this process take? It's really quite crazy, and there is nothing like it. Would it be legit to say that it actually can take a year or longer to apply to Med School? When I think of the ramifications of this, it really seems mind-boggling.

What do you guys think of this, and furthermore, is it still relatively early, considering you have had your stuff in for a long time now (since September all secondaries are in)???
