How many days before the test did you stop studying?

just wondering since my test is exactly a week from today and I feel like I have hit a wall at this point.

2 days before the test- stop doing practice tests (maybe squeeze in a math destroyer)- take most of the day off.
1 day before the test- brush bio notes, and brush through chads outlines. Then take the rest of the day off.

For some reason i only respond to your posts haha

This. A nice break does wonders before a big exam, good luck.

LOL. Thanks mate.

3 days. I didn't think about the DAT at all.

I went for a jog in the morning before my test, got there early, ate good breakfast, took lots of breaks during the test. I tried to be as relaxed as possible.

I studied even until right before the test lol..... I was paranoid...

Being chill is key. I took three different test in the same testing center. The first two times, I studied until the night before and couldn't sleep. I did well, but I did not feel like my test score reflected my personal best. The last time (when I took the DAT), I was totally relaxed and I did the best out of the three. While I will ALWAYS feel like I could've done better, I was very happy with my score the third time around. Composure is key.

When you are taking the DAT during the fall, it might be different. I would suggest getting a 1 hour massage for three days in a row. lol

Practicing the DAT and studying for the DAT are two different beasts. In one, you are learning the material (studying) and in the other you are learning how to take the test.

Studying....2 weeks prior.

Practicing....1 day prior (obviously I reviewed what I missed and what I guessed on so I would learn why I got it wrong or what tricked me up for next time I saw a similar problem).

Practice makes perfect.

I reviewed my more important stack of OC notecards in my car right before I walked into the testing center (which was a good half hour before my start time). It wasn't because I was flipping out or felt like I needed to do more studying, it was just a good confidence booster to be able to say, yep I have this stuff down.
