I have been studying mainly Kaplan PCAT prep book so far.
Since I haven't taken any general biology classes, a lot of stuff was pretty unfamiliar. After going through the book once, I took a look at the practice exam and thought that a lot of problems were doable.

Then I recently looked at Peterson prep book, and they had entirely different sort of questions, which made me very uneasy. I think their questions were a lot more detailed than the Kaplan's.

In comparison, Peterson's reading section seemed more straightforward, and their verbal section was ridiculous. In one question, they asked what was antonym for "unponderable", and among the choices were "ponderable". They had a few more questions like that...

So which book are you using, and what book do you find most reflective of the actual PCAT exams?
Also, how many different books are you using?

Thanks

I feel like:
-Kaplan is slightly harder or on par with the actual exam
-Cliffs practice tests are on par or a little easier
-Barron's is easier

hmm. people have told me it's substantially harder, and has questions that are just too hard to solve w/ out the use of a calculator, the math content is wrong, chemistry has a lot more solving than a real pcat, lacks microbio questions, etc.

oh well the more practice the better.
