Hey for all you DOs out there who matched Allopathically this year. Care to drop your stats and where you interviewed and matched? It would be a big help to us hopefull future DO applicants. Thanks!!

Check out //radiology.matchapplicants.com and search for applicants with COMLEX scores.

There were 2 that matched from TCOM this year: one in Little Rock and one at St. Francis in Illinois.

On matchapplicants, I find 15 with COMLEX scores out of 255 applicants. Not too bad, I guess, though I have no idea how many DO applicants there were. What I do find interesting is that their USMLE scores don't seem significantly different from the matching MD students. Maybe my theory that allo programs are "open" to DO's but with a 5-10 point step 1 handicap is way off the mark.?

Correction following an updated match list:

U IL-St Francis Medical Center
U Arkansas-Little Rock
MUSC
Baylor College of Medicine
Baystate/Tufts

we had 4 match out of 7 that applied. all in the northeast, all university programs.

i was fortunate to get a lot of great interviews, and i'm very happy where i matched though i did not get one of my top choices but im also feeling fortunate just to get a spot as i know many exceptionally well qualified MD's and DO's that did not match. this year was insanely competitive. according to the nrmp data, around 300 more people applied for rads this year than in previous years making an already competitive field even more so.

Three matched this year at GA-PCOM:

Medical College of Georgia (x2)
Christiana Care

Not meaning to jack the thread, but do you guys know if any of these guys matched allo with COMLEX only this year? I have heard a few stories from people who did this and know of a few who applied allo with COMLEX only and was curious...
