We should do a comparison with current medical students. I bet we study less per week than pre-meds. Oh pass/fail.

who keeps count on the hours they study?.. I just study intill I know the material

I study the day before the test

30-40, consistently. I don't have class time, though.

For those that dont study at all, how do your Gpas look?

Depends on the week/tests/projects due. this week I studied 15 hrs in the anatomy lab b/c we had a practical this morning...8am😱Now I'm behind on all my other work & should be writing my 7 page medical ethics paper but I'm on sdn....

i don't anymore...hooray! although i do take some of my research work home and "study" the concepts to make sure i understand what i'm doing. enjoy the library!

I am at around 10 but rarely well over 10. Exam weeks are a different story though.

Since most of my exams are usually within the same week, I start studying one week before the exams begin.

And when I say I study, I really mean that I sit with friends in "study groups" and do anything but study. So yea, count me in for the 0-1 hours per week.

Then again, my GPA has suffered a bit because of it. But whatever...I'd choose having a life over a 4.0 any day. 😎

I said 10-15... I have 17 Semster hours this time around. Organic Chem/ Physics/ Bio / and 2 philosophy classes.

I should do more, and sometimes I do, but thats a fair average.

I hardly ever study, usually a day before the test or like today for my chemistry test I studied 2 hours before the test so we'll see. My gpa is 3.75 😳 (its not that good but its not bad either)

I study 6-8 hrs every day...and the day before test I read all the chapters once again that will be on the test. Most of the times, I stay uptill 3 or 4 am..😀.

How can anyone possibly study six hours a day? I usually do about 3 hours per day and maybe 7 max on nights before exams and when I have to write papers. Mind you, most of the time I get distracted during these times.

its not that hard if you think about it...😉

It's good to study for at least 2-3 hours per day on non-exam weeks, more when exams come around. Start studying at least 2-3 weeks before exams, maybe sooner depending on the exam.

How do you function? What time is your earliest class because if I go to bed at 4am there is no way I'll be sitting in my class at 8am. 😴

6-8 hours a DAY? after CLASSES? wow! I would go nuts. well then again I am good in memorizing stuff and I can memorize a week worth of notes in 30 min. BUT 6-8 hours day? thats like a job

I just read the notest/text chapters when we cover new material (hour and a half worth of reading per wee?), and study an hour the night before the test, an hour on the day of the test right before. I'm playing with fire, I realize, but my method of not attending class and not studying hasn't burned me yet. I'm a fast reader, so I guess I have that working to my advantage. I can't believe some of you study for 6 hours a day... that sucks. I have a feeling you are not being economical with your time. You'd probably still get the same grades if you cut that time in half.
