these kinds of poll are useless... it really depends on how much you know already and what score you want to get. for example, my friend got a 24 on AA with just two weeks of studying whereas i spent an entire summer to get a 24.

I kind of agree...it seems like you would need to consider some other factors to make a poll like this useful. Like right now its at 40-something percent said 7+ hours a day, which seems absurd to me...and that's why you need to know for how many days (ie. 7 hrs a day for a couple weeks isn't much, 7 hrs a day for 3 months is ridic), how effective the studying was (straight-through, or taking many breaks), how good their background in the material is (ie. bio major probably needs less review time than an english major)....its all relative!

You can sit in your room or in the library for 15 hours a day and absorb very little information or sit for 5 hours and get more out of it.... It all depends on the quality of studying you are doing. I know that before I took my test I was studying a good 6-7 hours a day for a month.

And everyone is capable of absoring information differently...

Lets say you have an exam coming up in school. One student may feel the need to study for a few hours a day for a week or two in order to do well for the exam. Another student may be able to study the night before and do better than the other person.

Study however many hours a day you can (without losing your sanity) for as long as you need to do well on the exam...

Studied for almost exactly a month over break (December, no school or work) for about 8 hours a day on average including weekends.

Depends on how much you already know. My OChem and Chem was fine so I barely looked over that but spent nearly half the time (2 weeks) just doing Bio (only 1 college level Bio so far, over 2 years ago). Ended up 21 on Bio and Chem, 23 on OChem.

Studied for 7-8 weeks, almost all my free time went into this thing (10 hours a day on weekends and throughout winter break, didn't leave the house for days at a time). Hadn't had GC for 3 years and Bio for 2 years so I STUDIED
