How many hours do most of your guys have this semester in pre-med?

i'm thinking of double-majoring in 4, maybe 4.5 years. i couldn't handle 19 hours myself though... geez man 😱 that's a lot of work.

u see im wierd like tat.....when i was takin 15 crs i got like a 3.1 gpa...but once i made my self busy i started gettin 3.9's and 4.0's...so i think that i need to be under stress to do well 🙂🙂

Wow you people who go seriously overboard with the classes are insane. If you're thinking you need to do that to make yourself look impressive to the adcoms, think again. It's really not worth the stress. I took an average of 4.5 classes during my undergrad career, and that's all I really could take. Don't stress out during college - when you graduate you will realize it wasn't worth missing out on the best time in your life. Med school will be stressful enough, when you're in class/studying probably 10 hours a day. Enjoy college. You'll thank me later.

dayum - I'm pulling 19 units a quarter from now until the end of time, and I'm going to be struggling to graduate with one (non-science) major and pre-med requisites - damn you, UCLA bureaucracy

I took 15 usually, including a physical fitness class of some sort every semester. Undergrad was fun. Sigh.

Uhm, those are all intro classes. It's work, but i'm taking 26 hours with 9 classes, and none of my classes are intro ones.

That's strange. My Organic Chemistry class is only 4 credits total for lecture and lab. 3 credits for Genetics only.

When I was at UCSB my freshmen year I got 4 units for gchem lab and lecture, and here at UCI they get 4 units for lecture and 2 for lab. I had 3 quarters of lab, and they only have 2, but I wound up with 4 less units. 🙁

i changed my mind....im 16 crs now 🙂 no need to go crazy ill still finish my double major in 3 yrs 🙂 now ill get to have fun this semester 🙂
