How many in your class?

Just wondering what the applicant pool might be looking like. 10% of my class is going into rads, which is 10 people. Anyone else have big numbers?

10% sounds about right from my school as well. At least that was the number last year, but i doubt this year is much different.

A lot less than last year thats for sure. about 9 applied last year 6 matched. This year, less than have of that are applying to my knowledge... hope it stays that way.

What other schools are best known for placing a lot of grads into radiology residencies?

15 people from my school (UMiami) matched into rads this year.

Only 10 from UPenn this year out of the class of 150. I think the number is usually around 15.

500-550 going for the match each year I believe.

I know my upcoming 2007 class is around 560? Last year we had 5-6 people match into rads.

havent got a clue. I dont even know who is in my class anymore or was, etc.

7 out of 74 this year from UConn, everyone who wanted rads got it.

from what my friends have told me,about this past years class at NYCOM... the amount of people that want rads is much less than 10 percent. We have like 280 students in each class. i could be wrong

I hope your right. I asked the secretary who works for Jeger. She did some hocus pocus on her computer with the eras program and told me 24 kids had applied to rads. Whether or not they ranked any programs i dont know and its also possible she hadnt a clue what she was doing. Lets hope the odds aren't 1/24 for nycom.
