Another thing...my stats aren't high enough to be accepted anywhere reliably.

So I'm just gonna throw everything at at the wall and see what sticks.

I'd say your stats are pretty good. 😕 ECs look good, too.

As long as your not applying to only top tier schools, which it looks like you went pretty broadly, I think you'll get in.

I applied to like 13 schools, and all but one have sent out interview invites. Everyone says "it's still early in the interviewing season so there's still plenty of time," but my concern is that since I did not get an invite in the first round when my application was in, it means that they put me in a "maybe pile" off to the side, and as more applicants submit secondaries, they will be the first to receive interviews, and we in the "maybe pile" are ignored until the end of the interview season when the committees remember us and say "oh yeah, well, we already filled up all our slots, so throw that pile into the furnace!" It seems like if you don't get an interview shortly after your file is complete at a school, you have little to no chance of getting accepted there...

I don't think that's true at all. It's all very random. There is an application queue believe it or not. You may not even have had a good look at most schools.

Wait for Monday.

sitting pretty at 0 invites and 2 rejections 🙁

Try to be patient. It's still early in the cycle, and remember that SDN has a very distorted view of the admissions process. Try not to let it get to your head.

Best of luck. I hope good news comes your way soon,

Nothing to see here, I just wanted to say 👍 that someone actually used my favorite soft drink as their SDN name.

Bonus points.

🙂
