I saw that Harvard's scheduling people for February already, 🙁. But then it's Harvard, I guess not many people are going to start declining interviews once they get into another school.

I have a gut feeling that many of the later interviews (after Feb) are for apps that were submitted later and the interviews for Feb, like you said, already have invites sent.

As for how accurate my hunches are, I'm not sure.

That's true too. I'm on quite a few pre-interview holds that I've been told are not indefinite.

My morale was great until this past week. Is a Christmas acceptance/interview that much to ask for? It's nearly 2008, people! :|

Ouch. I hope my roommate doesn't see this. He had an issue with his LORs getting lost over at HMS and was just declared complete like last week.

Looking through past years' threads, that does seem to be the case (Feb 16th was the last day last year per one thread).

BUT: Harvard sends out interview invites up through January 16th (or the end of January, depending on which SDNr's honor you put more faith in.)

I don't know who's full of themselves here, but I do know that the University of Utah does take the best score in each section, allowing you to mix-and-match test results.
