How many letters to U of Chicago?

From reading their instructions for supplementary application, it looks to me like they are restricting(?) the number to 3 from faculty members. I have strong letters from others who are not faculty members. Did anyone speak to Admission office re: submitting more than 3?

I tried calling today, but just got voice mail.

they were fine with me submitting more than three, but this is because my extra letters are post-undergrad, as i am in grad school and several years out of college. they seem pretty flexible. drop them an email--they reply really quickly.
