Do most schools cap it at three, plus the pre-med committee letter? I've waited for the past month for my fourth letter to be completed, but now I'm finding out that it may be useless to me. What's the deal? I remember my pre-med advisor telling me to request between 4 and 6 even.

Do most schools cap it at three, plus the pre-med committee letter? I've waited for the past month for my fourth letter to be completed, but now I'm finding out that it may be useless to me. What's the deal? I remember my pre-med advisor telling me to request between 4 and 6 even.

Some schools will actually cap it at three.... but most allow more. One school I'm applying to caps it at 5. Maybe submit the three letters and use the fourth as an update letter.... better to get you app complete!
