Just curious.
me me me me me me
I did all my prereqs at a CC and plan on taking more upper divisions at a 4 year.
Thanks!Love your signature. How far along in your pre-reqs are you?
I took almost all prereqs at a CC (except orgo2) and got my associates degree there. Transferred to a 4year and getting my bachelors in jan 2012. 🙂Just curious.
I took all the pre-reqs at my community college and then transferred to a university. I've continued to do well at my university and have received three interview invites thus far.

I think it's not a big deal as long as you did good in the prereqs and you take upper level bio classes such as biochem and genetics or cellbio. AND do well in all these classes.
My friends did take all their prereqs at a CC, but they are non-trads (doing their post-bacs) so they did it for financial reasons. I have to say, my chemistry professors at the cc were hardcore and taught so well, much better than my professor who taught me orgo2 at the 4yr college. *shrug
I currently am taking some prereq's at a CC, probably will do at least half here and then the other half at the local state school.I went the com college route (this was in the 90's) did most pre-req there then transferred to large state Uni. I saved a crapload of $$, got similar GPA's in both places and got into top 40 state med school with no problem. Your snobberish schools like duke or Stanford would have a bias against CC transfers but most others wont.
