How often do you guys go out and have a good time. I normally go out to the bars/clubs parties maybe once a week on fridays unless i have a lot of the midterms the following week. I have never been able to understand kids who study 7 days a week. I still get pretty good grades, not a 4.0 but i think going out is a good way to blow off steam and meet new people, plus its college and your here to have to fun, as long as you can balance both. The only reason i bring this up is because some of the pre-med/pre-health kids I've meet this semester but seem pretty good as in not drinking/going out and theres a big end of year party after finals and i want to invite some of them but am nervous to get a "i don't go out"...

2-4 nights a week. Required expert time management and my priorities in line during test weeks (obviously didn't go out then, or at least within 4 nights of test).

ended with a 3.76 (BS Biology)

I think most of us just don't have time.

Myself for example, I work 35 hours a week in addition to being enrolled full-time AND doing volunteer work at two different places each week. Not to mention I have to eat and sleep at some point and keep my GPA high, so no slacking on school work.

Now when I do have time, I love to go out. Long Island Iced Teas can really take the stress out of ya. However, it doesn't happen that much.

not in middle school at all, but you also don't wanna give off a bad image or make someone uncomfortable because you don't know how they'll react to partying ya know

I had time in stints to go crazy, but I'm just not the party type.

I do enjoy a good homebrew though.

I wouldn't invite them. I always had my "pre-med friends" and my friends kept pretty separate.

Party? 1-2 nights a week, no more.
Go out? 3-4 nights a week which includes the partying, no more.

Kinda the same with me. My high school friends are doing some business/econ major at some other college but I still chill with them (mostly partying), while my pre-(med, pharm, dent) friends and I chill at campus and/or go to bars/get food after night class.

OP's post came off as really judgemental to me...

Some people are just introverted, don't see why so many people have a problem with that. If you want to invite them to your party or whatever, then go ahead. If that is not their idea of a good time then who cares?

"Going out" doesn't always classify as having a good time to everyone. I personally don't drink, do drugs, party, etc. I'm just a little pre-occupied studying, working, volunteering, and spending time with my significant other and family. Those are the kind of things that are fun to me, does that mean I don't enjoy myself and don't have fun? No. But its obviously a different kind of fun then most college kids prefer.

And you guys are crazy. I go out twice a week if not more and I am studying for freakin boards.
