How many of you satsified the math requirements for your medical school?

Hey all,

I asked this question on the pre-med board, but it seems more appropriate here.

I am trying to gauge how many people took the necessary math for application to medical school.

Almost 60% of medical schools do NOT require any math. Do you believe that to truly be the case?

how about an option something like:

yes, i took my requirements and/or more b/c i enjoy math.

for all the math majors out there. or maybe i am the only math dork in med school??

Most definitely. Took 2 years of math in college.

What's all this uproar about math these days?? I only took calculus and that satisfied my college's requirement. I couldn't imagine a medical school requiring more than that. Especially since you get to use a calculator for any remote math you do.

I tested out of math at my university and never took any in college and I am the better man for it. I use no higher level math as a physician. The most you get might be algebra. Primarily Medicine is not a math based profession.
