How many of you take dr. b.v.'s posts seriously?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

I meant Dr. BadVibes... I'm not so sure about his being "I know it all...", "you're wrong, i'm right" approach.

Seriously, is it just me?

HAHAHHA...wow, this is like the 4th thread dedicated to me in my SDN career....is that a good thing or bad?

Anyways, I dont know how I portray this "I know it all" approach....you dont see me on USC threads, or on Florida threads cause I know nothing of these schools.....Just like you, Im on these forums to learn, but I have been on these forums for a while and have read alot, plus been on DentalTown....I try to share what Ive read to others on this forum, and whenever my points are questioned, I always try and link them to where I got the info....

I dont know it all, and I have never said this. I only reply to topics which are obviously wrong and need clarification and there are two topics that have gotten me "hated" on these forums, and I stand by my arguments:

1. Going to Columbia is not a guarantee to specialize and does not open any doors

2. Paying off a 300K debt is not going to take 3-5 years....

If you dispute this, then go ahead....If Im going to get flamed for clarifying things, then so be it....flame away.

Look, I can't ask you, Dr. BadVibes if you like yourself or not. Right?

I know who you are talking about. You'll always encounter a whole spectrum of people in life - some you'll connect with and others you don't. Afterall this is a public forum and you are bound to encouter the same here. Written messages can be difficult - someone's choice of words may come across as harsh when the original intent was far from. If you don't like someone's posts then simply move on and try to play fair. As far as negatively commenting on Dr. BadVibes, or anyone in this forum for that matter, I don't think that is fitting of a professional, or mature person for that matter, and I will not join in. Take a peek at the forum etiquette and facts thread for more information.

Really... How many of you? I know I don't.

Dr Bad Vibe's posts may cross the line at times (when I say "at times" i mean less than 1% of the time), but your thread dedicated to attacking him not only crosses the line, it takes a crap on it. Read the rules of the forum, and dont start crying when this thread gets closed, because it will.

Every community needs a village idiot, and Dr. Badvibes is our town idiot! Sometimes he has valid information, other times he speaks out his ass and he knows it.

HD

Hey, I tried to be blunt just like him... He should learn how to interact with people if he wants to be a dentist. He's always trying to HELP us in his closed-mind-ways, why shouldn't I?

For example, in 6 years from now Dr. BadVibes encounters a patient who needs 8 extractions on his upper arch due to poor oral hygiene. And he tell the patient that he needs to have all 8 teeth replaced with implants that would cost him $30000. The patient says to him that he would rather go with an upper partial denture. But the patient doesn't tell him he chose the denture because he couldn't afford the implants or he's afraid of invasive surgery... Then Dr. BadVibes goes like, "Look a$$hole, I'm giving you the only and the best dental advice possible. If you don't listen to me, you're a loser."

I'm not even calling him an "a$$hole", like he did to numerous people. Easy...

Dido. The guy only posts his pessimistic opinions and unenthusiatic comments. It's a shame the US lets Canadiens like him cross the border to receive a dental education here.

Dido again.

Aint this thread a violation of something?

True that both of you get freedom of speech.
However, your response should target individual post rather than individual person.
