How many pain programs are you applying to?

    Just curious how paranoid we are :laugh:

    My number of completed apps for 2008:


    Plan 4 more specific places..

    I applied to somewhere around 13 and had about a 50% interview rate. I would say my competitiveness was "average to above-average" overall.

    Depends on how competitive the fellowships are you are applying to, how competitive of an applicant you are, and what you are looking for in a fellowship. Non-anesthesia trained applicants will probably have to apply to a few more programs.

    thanks for the replies.
    I think for me at least it hard to judge the competitiveness of the programs, and of myself, since I don't specifically know the ITE score range of those who are offered positions. It interesting that only a few programs have required my specific ITE scores. I think I will stop applying at around 16.
