how many PM&R electives is too many?

is taking multiple PM&R electives viewed as a negative, if you definitely know that you want to do PM&R? i was thinking of doing 3 PM&R electives at places that may realistically accept me(I am an IMG with low basic science and Step 1 scores). but is more than 2 PM&R electives overkill?

However, I was using those as an extended interview/tour of the programs I rotated at. It can't hurt, especially if you are strongly considering the programs you are rotating at.

Rumor also is that the number and 'quality' of PM&R applicants are increasing with each successive class, so you may want to hit Step 2 hard prior to sending out ERAS.
