How many Podiatrist shall I shadow?

Hi,
I was just wondering if it's better to shadow more than one podiatrist. I have been shadowing the same podiatrist for 50 hours now and I've learned a lot from the experience. I also notice that most schools only require one letter from a podiatrist, but is it better to shadow more than one podiatrist? Has anyone done that? And if you do could you get 2 letters from podiatrists? Just wanted some opinions! Thanks👍

Yes 🙂, the more you shadow, the more you will learn about the profession. You want to make sure that you are making the right decision going into podiatry, before you invest thousands of dollars and years of your life. I have shadowed in three different settings so far, and there is a world of difference. One podiatrist sees patients in a wealthy retirement community, the other in a general suburban population, and the other was an attending at a county hospital with a podiatry residency. All were good experiences. Shadow a more podiatrists, it can't hurt.
