how many procedures did u/are u aiming to do in icu rotation?

Curious what types of procedures we should try to do in micu rotation as sub-i. Kinda more difficult now to do stuff since newly minted interns have first dip. What's a good number of central lines?

watchful waiting
careful observation
tincture of time
intense monitoring
therapeutic lab draws

as a 3rd year in the MICU the most I got to do was change lines over a wire, and numb up the site before they put in a line. Which was ok practice I guess but of course you want more. I found that the fellows were very willing to let you try stuff.
