This is just a gauge of how many programs you've all applied to. I have a friend who applied to 80:eek: programs.

Bump... It's okay to reply with words also. You know, things like, Why you applied to as many as you did, how much it cost, what you applied to. Make conversation!

I applied to 41 IM programs because I had to apply to all of the top 25 programs, and then I applied to 15 mediocre programs just to make sure I could get in somewhere. And then I applied to a community program in my hometown because my friend's dad is the program director. $605! I was curious how someone who started a thread ended up paying $601 because it doesn't seem mathematically possible, but my curiosity didn't lead me to ask until now.

Why did you "have to" apply to all of the top 25 programs (whatever that means...according to whom)?
