Apply to however many you need to feel comfortable. Board scores will open doors for you, but the interview is very important as well. I think typically my classmates a few years ago applied to approximately 40 programs, on average.

assuming no red flags you’ll be fine. You would have likely be fine with half that number with your stats. But there is little to lose by dishing out too many interviews. Virtual interviews are practically free.
