should we break this thread up in to how many programs US Medical Grads are applying to versus FMIG's? I think there's a real difference there... My advisor keeps telling me that I should probably apply for no more than 15 places; where as an FMIG that matched here in Neuro applied to 30+.... any thoughts?

I'm a US student---and looking only in New England which limits my choices a bit!
