I know this has been asked in prior years, but I think this year is going to be a lot different considering interviews are virtual.
I'm at a mid-tier MD program, step 1&2 scores are around the average for neuro, no red flags, 4 strong letters (presumably), some cool research history.
I have ~35 programs on my list with a pretty even split of 1/3 top tier, 1/3 mid tier, 1/3 low tier. I'm trying to get from the Midwest to either coast.
Should I add more programs to my list?
