I'm fairly sure they can look at your AADSAS and see how many you designated...if not, I know for sure that cali schools talk to eachother...especially the UC schools

i think on the secondaries some schools ask what other schools you are applying to. but i dont think big numbers hurt anyone because if a school asks about it, you can just say 'i want to keep my options as open as possible so that i am sure i will be able to find the right school for me'

No matter who you are, there are some schools that it would be 100% pointless to apply to. Like that NC school only taking NC residents.
