How many schools left to hear from?

Nada from 17.... and the mail couldn't get emptier. I got a large packet from Omaha Steaks today, when I first saw it I thought it might be a med school, but it was some sort of damn solicitation. agh!

I know how you feel -- everytime I check my mailbox and see mail in there, I get so excited, and am always crestfallen when it's not from a med school. A few weeks ago, I was so upset when I eagerly opened my school mailbox and found nothing but my paycheck in there!

And by the way, I'm still waiting on 17 schools and have been complete since end of October. (5 interviews, 3 rejections so far) This waiting is awful!

waiting to hear back from 10 schools, all post-secondary pre-interview. very frustrating.

i totally agree, what the hell are they keeping my file for if they're gonna reject me...........god! this is sooooo frustrating, and i hate it when ppl tell me everything is going to be alright and this and that and all my friends think im for sure going to get into med school and i have nothing to worry about and dont understand the frustration of not hearing back from teh majority of schools when they're not giving out interviews anymore at my schools and not hearing back from the 2 schools i interviewed at and i hate it even more when ppl tell me to stop worrying and this is how it is and all that bull****. 😡 😡

i just want to know what what the hell is going to happen to me at the end of march. i hate being in no mans land, sitting on the fence. i hate each day going by with no news and i hate that i cant express my frustrations without getting bitched at in a forum or having my concerns brushed over by ppl. i am worried about my situation as i have a right to be and as so does everyone else on here having heard nothing, or even the ppl who have acceptances and dont know where to go and what to do..........

I agree, it is good to hear someone express the EXACT same emotions as myself. This process is torture. Stay strong my fellow SDNers!

wow!! when i read others' profiles and hear they have no or few interviews i am actually shocked i got the interviews i did; i have no clue what they even liked about me 😕 😕

Me too! My email box says "You have 1 Unread Messages." And it's from my premed advisor talking about some meeting to get a committee letter. HELLO? I've done all that! Or my mailbox has a letter and I'm like "It must be from a school!" And it is: though it's really my tuition bill for this semester. 😡

I'm waiting post-interview from Case too, and I know the admissions committee met for my interview group two days ago (the 18th -- ironically my birthday!). Does anyone know how long Case takes to get you the actual letter? I'm forcibly holding myself back from calling them!
