Hi!
I'm looking for some advice on how many and suggestions regarding schools that I should apply to given my stats. I really want to save money and not apply unnecessarily, but obviously I want to be on the safe side and get at least one acceptance.
Some of my stats:
Florida resident, URM
cGPA: 3.74, sGPA: 3.65 (from a very good school, if that makes any difference
)
DAT: 21 AA, 21 TS, 19 PAT. QR was very low, 16🙁
Lots of volunteering, involvement, research and ~120 shadowing hrs.
Will submit everything as soon as application opens.
I know that I will be applying almost for sure to UF, Nova, LECOM, UPenn, and maybe Rutgers. Other than that, I have so many candidates and it's hard to narrow down my list. I'm thinking maybe 7-10 schools but as I said, idk if that's too much or too little given my stats, and I really want to save money. What factors other than cost, curriculum, focus of the school, IS/OFS acceptance rate, and location should I consider?
I'm sorry if this has been discussed before in this forum or if it's annoying. I'm just looking for advice, and I promise I often refrain from posting here before looking for similar posts bc I know some don't like it.
Thanks in advance!🙂🙂
