Obviously I should aim for 100% but I have two questions?

1.) How many should I be getting correct on CDP. i excluded angles because by test 5 I have not really improved at all

2.) I got 14/15 on keyhole and 12/15 on TFE which have been pretty consistent in the last 3 exams, but based on some of these threads, I heard TFE/keyhole on the actual DAT is way harder. can anyone comment on this. I want to know if this CDP is really giving me a false sense of security. :scared:

many here have suggested to couple CDP with achiever..maybe once you are done with CDP get achiever (it is way harder)

Personal experience -- don't rely much on CDP. I was getting 20s on the practice, and my exam yesterday I only pulled off a 17.. Not great at all.

Actual DAT is much much much harder.

I also ONLY used CDP, so I would say invest in something else for PAT!

Last year I got a 22 on the PAT and I got a 21,23,24 on the last 3 tests I took, respectively. So in my experience I would say it's not too far off. I didn't have any 1/3 folds on my test that I can remember though so idk on that.

The only methods I used were the tfe line counting and the cube counting one chart where you count each cube before you answer all of the questions for it. I didn't use the line of symmetry method for hole punches last year, but that seems like it would have been beneficial because hole punches were my worst I think on that test.

I wouldn't say that getting 14/15 and 12/15 should give you a false sense of security. You want to be able to nail these sections on CDP, as it is almost a certainty to get a few angles wrong on the test. In my personal experience, I used the 10 test version of CDP and it was pretty spot on for the exam (I took it on Saturday and got a 25). I wouldn't necessarily say the actual DAT was all that much harder, but the images for TFE and Keyholes aren't as clear, so be ready for that. I only used CDP and Topscore (not very good) for PAT practice and my CDP scores were pretty consistent with my results. Best strategies that I found were the LOS technique for hole punching which you can find a video for on youtube, and the cube counting chart.
