I have 3 SLORs. 2 from directors and 1 from a clinical instructor. I have a strong IM LOR as well.
If a program asks for 3, should I submit 2 SLORs and the one IM LOR? or the more SLORs the better?
or is the answer program specific?

Programs ask for a minimum of three, but there are four LOR slots available for each program on ERAS. If they are all good, just submit all four to each program you applied to.

i only have 1 SLOR, 2 others are regular LOR, one from associate chair of EM with no EM residency and one from director of trauma surg

I doubt it. The PDs I've spoken to prefer them anyways since they include objective and comparative marks. I'm curious why you wouldn't submit your IM LOR rec though, unless you think it isn't solid. The more the merrier in my book.
