How many times can you take the DAT??

As many times as you'd like. But after your 3rd time, you have to get special permission to take the exam.

Someone from this site made a post once that you are really limited to like 2 or 3 times to take it. Does it look really bad if you took it a lot?

Most dental school exams last for 4 hrs and you don't exactly get a whole lot of shots at taking them. So my anser to your question is it definately looks better to get the job done in less attempts, but everyone has different situations which are taken into account. What's your situation in regards to taking the DAT, if you don't mind me asking?
